Professional development programs focus on building capacities and competencies for professional growth, while training programs focus on short-term skill acquisition or improved technical aptitude.

Workplace Learning and Performance partners with Vincent on Leadership: The Hay Project, located in DePaul’s School of Public Service, to provide leadership development for DePaul faculty and staff. Along with on-line leadership resources, the Hay Leadership Project offers The Values-Centered Leadership Certificate Program.

Inspired by Vincent de Paul’s organizational genius and legacy of service, collaboration and inclusiveness, The Values-Centered Leadership Certificate integrates leadership theory and concepts with more personal and applied approaches to the development of socially responsible and engaged leaders.
